On Saturday the 8th of November last week Sevenoaks district council organized a torch march and firework display. We planned to use this event to our advantage for out third scene, being the firework sequence. We prepared a shot list and call sheet as well as a risk assessment acknowledging the possibility of rain. Although forecasts showed signs of bad weather that evening we proceeded to the location making sure that we could stay in a dry interior in case of bad weather. Unfortunately this was the case and due to heavy rain the torch march was cancelled, this being the main section that we were there to film, we were not able to shoot.
We are currently in the process of rescheduling our next two shoots, We plan to be performing our Hornslodge Fields shoot on Sunday the 16th, the weather forecast predicts clouds with low chance of rain. For our firework sequence planned for Sevenoaks we are having to reconsider either another event to attend of or redrafting the opening of our final scene.
